SARGA.CO – Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Pordasi 59th National Championship Series II 2025, held at the Sultan Agung Horse Racing Track in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, completed six additional races by 10:00 AM WIB.
Competition among the top horses on the track grew increasingly intense, with several races showcasing tight duels. Each jockey gave their all to secure victory and bring home prizes worth tens of millions of rupiah per class.
One of the fiercest duels unfolded in Race IV, featuring the 3-Year-Old Junior Class Div. II – 1,200 meters, competing for the Arsari Tambang Cup with a total prize of Rp15 million. The race featured nine horses from six regional Pordasi contingents.
The class appeared evenly matched from the start, with horses running tightly packed in the front group. Blate Vasundara from Aragon Stable and Elgawira pushed forward, neck and neck, followed closely by Surya Danastry in a three-way battle for the lead.
While the front trio fought for position, Golden Glory from Bali began to make a quiet but powerful move from the outside lane. The 3-year-old chestnut filly, standing 156 cm, accelerated to take the lead.
Not far behind, Jayden Hyde from DK Jakarta, initially outside the leading pack, also began to surge forward. The 155 cm chestnut colt quickly climbed to second position.
The race reached its climax in the final 400 meters, as Golden Glory and Jayden Hyde battled for supremacy.
Then came a late surprise from Elgawira of West Java, a strong-finishing 3-year-old stallion (153.5 cm) sired by Eldorado and Rock Rose. Charging forward from behind, Elgawira overtook Jayden Hyde but fell just short of catching Golden Glory.
Winners – Race IV: 3-Year-Old Junior Class Div. II – 1,200 meters
1st Place: Golden Glory – Bali (Naviri Stable)
2nd Place: Elgawira – West Java (Aragon Stable)
3rd Place: Jayden Hyde – DK Jakarta (Dez Stable)
Race V, the 3-Year-Old Junior Class Div. I – 1,200 meters, was marked by a dramatic change of jockeys, a move that proved decisive in determining the race outcome. Competing for the Sarga Cup with a total prize of Rp30 million, the adjustments paid off handsomely.
Meikel Soleran replaced Hesky Paendong as the jockey of Kana Eclipse, while Royal Blaze, initially slated to be ridden by Bramantio Turangan, was instead handled by Ade S. Irman.
Another twist came when Sweet Caroline from Jatinom Indah Stable (East Java) withdrew from the race, reducing the lineup to six horses. Right from the start, Kana Eclipse seized the lead, shadowed by Kimberly and Danantara, the three horses running shoulder to shoulder.
Meanwhile, Royal Blaze, a 3-year-old black stallion standing 151.4 cm, patiently trailed the leaders from sixth position.
At the 600-meter mark, Kana Eclipse and Kimberly continued their tight battle. Kimberly tried to snatch the lead with an outside move, but Kana Eclipse held firm.
In the final 200 meters, jockeys gave everything they had — yet Kana Eclipse proved unstoppable, maintaining the lead to the finish line without even needing the whip.
From behind, Royal Blaze stunned the crowd, surging past several rivals to finish in third place.
1st Place: Kana Eclipse – Central Java (Eclipse Stable)
2nd Place: Kimberly – East Java (Nona Cindy Stable)
3rd Place: Royal Blaze – East Java (Amigo Stable)
Following Bali’s triumph, Yogyakarta’s contingent also celebrated success in Race VI, featuring the 3-Year-Old Derby Class Div. II – 1,400 meters, competing for the Arsari Tambang Cup.
Although not clinching first place, Bulan Sabit from Bullion 99 Stable delivered a brilliant performance, securing a podium finish for the host region.
The race, involving seven horses, began with Ratu Adara leading under jockey Truli Pantouw, followed by Elya Savona and De Boss Istana in third.
Ratu Adara battled side-by-side with Elya Savona from Jatinom Indah Stable (East Java), with both maintaining a fierce duel until the 600-meter mark, while Bulan Sabit lurked just behind.
Starting from the back, Bulan Sabit — sired by Desperaldo Warrior and Vional Kinali — impressed spectators by advancing rapidly to contest the top three positions.
In the final 300 meters, Elya Savona, a 3-year-old chestnut filly, overtook Ratu Adara and held on to claim victory at the finish line.
