SARGA.CO – Triple SS once again proved himself as the ruler of the track after delivering an absolute victory in the highest class of Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono X 2025. Competing at the Sultan Agung Racetrack in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, 9 November 2025, the red stallion delivered a flawless performance from start to finish.
Racing with jockey Meikel Soleran under the Shella Saukia Stable banner, Triple SS left no room for his six rivals to get close. His steady speed, precise stride, and sharp instincts kept him untouchable throughout the 2,000 meters, securing the prestigious King’s Cup— the highest-tier trophy with a total prize of Rp200 million from SARGA.CO.
Race XVII brought together the finest horses from six regions, including Princess Gavi and Queen Divona (West Java), Naga Sembilan a.k.a. Leonidas (Jakarta), Naura Ayu (East Java), Prince Patriot (Yogyakarta), and P. Ratu Samudra (South Kalimantan).
The 6-year-old, 160 cm tall Triple SS launched the race with a clean start. Although the herd clustered in the first 200 meters, Triple SS and Naga Sembilan gradually broke away, leading the front pack with a strong, consistent rhythm.
Princess Gavi, the favorite from King Halim Stable, tailed in third position, waiting for an opening to attack. But that opening never came.
Entering the final 800 meters, the top three remained unchanged. Triple SS remained unshaken at the front, followed by Naga Sembilan, with Princess Gavi and Queen Divona pressing harder from behind.
At the final bend, jockey Meikel Soleran assessed the situation calmly. He applied a measured whip, ensuring Triple SS maintained momentum without wasting energy. That precise decision allowed Triple SS to extend his lead even farther, leaving the top contenders behind as they began to lose pace.
Princess Gavi attempted a final push from the outside, but the gap was simply too wide. She managed only to overtake Naga Sembilan for second place, while Triple SS sprinted comfortably toward his crown.
With a convincing margin, Triple SS crossed the finish line first and was officially crowned champion of the HB X King’s Cup 2025. This victory further solidifies the quality of the horse trained by Slamet Pak Wo and owned by H. Achmad Fitra.
