The team consists of three HBA athletes—Azral Mardin, Omar Farooq Putra Alleut, and Kaisar Akthar Firdauz—accompanied by Ali Fathi Assegaff (Team Manager), Bandiono (Coach), and Deri Asta, who serves as head of the delegation.
Upon arrival in Tennessee, the team is scheduled to join a pre-competition training program from September 14–17, 2025, to help the athletes adapt to the competition arena, local weather, and time zone differences.
“Alhamdulillah, the team is ready to compete after undergoing mental and discipline training, skill tests, and health monitoring for three days at Yonkavkud I Sembrani in Parongpong, West Java.”
said Deri Asta, Head of the HBA Commission of PP Pordasi, as quoted by Pordasi.id.
Deri added that the three athletes qualified through a selection process based on results from the HBA Championship for the PP Pordasi Chairman’s Cup in Bali (May 2025) and the Try Out to Tennessee event held in Banten (June 2025).
With thorough and well-structured preparation, Deri hopes the athletes will face no obstacles during the competition.
The championship will feature the Raid, Tower, and Hunt disciplines, each contested in both individual and team categories.
Deri added.
Meanwhile, PP Pordasi Chairman Aryo PS Djojohadikusumo, who observed the team’s preparations, expressed optimism that the Indonesian HBA athletes will achieve great results.
Aryo explained that the mental and discipline training, skill enhancement, and health monitoring at Yonkavkud I Sembrani were part of a cooperation agreement signed between PP Pordasi and Pussenkav TNI AD on July 9, 2025, in Jakarta.
Aryo PS Djojohadikusumo emphasized as he sent off the Indonesian HBA Team to the 2025 IHAA World Championships in Tennessee, USA.
