SARGA.CO – Indonesia’s quest to produce world-class equestrian athletes continues through the dynamic synergy between Equinara Horse Sports and the Longines World Equestrian Academy (LWEA).
Now entering its sixth year, the prestigious training program returns from June 15–22, 2025, at the Jakarta International Equestrian Park (JIEP), Pulomas.
The program concludes with the awarding of a prestigious certificate signed by German equestrian legend and LWEA President, Ludger Beerbaum.
“This isn’t just training—it’s a gateway for our athletes to compete globally,” said Adinda Yuanita, CEO of Equinara Horse Sports.
She emphasized that Equinara and LWEA provide the only continuous equestrian training program in Indonesia that opens the door to European-level competition.
Since 2019, Equinara has been the exclusive partner of LWEA, sending top talent to the Summer Camp at Riesenbeck International, Germany, and honing their skills for elite events like the Longines Global Champions Tour.
This year, over 20 riders aged 11–32 from both Indonesia and Australia participated, undergoing intensive coaching by elite trainer Thorsten Wittenberg from Ludger Beerbaum’s stable.
And the results are showing. Teuku Rifat Harsya, a standout graduate of the program, recently clinched victory in the CSI1 class at JIEP Pulomas with a time of 63.98 seconds, beating out Nurstdinov Zayan and Arseri Rizky.
“In 2019, Rifat didn’t even have a competitive horse. But thanks to his dedication and regular training through this program, he’s now a serious contender,” Adinda praised.
According to Adinda, the program builds not just technical skill but the mentality of a champion.
“In the past four years, we’ve seen remarkable growth. Several alumni are already making waves internationally,” she added enthusiastically.
The collaboration between Equinara and LWEA proves that the dream of developing Indonesian equestrian athletes who can compete alongside Europe’s elite is no longer just a vision—it’s becoming a reality.
Market value expected to reach US$1.73 billion by 2035
