This time, 152 of the nation’s best racehorses are set to compete for a total prize of Rp600 million, divided across 18 racing classes.
In the short-distance division, the spotlight falls on Class A Super Sprint, covering 1,300 meters with a prize of Rp70 million. This class represents the purest form of speed racing, where horses with short-distance acceleration and power battle for victory on the track.
Meanwhile, in the long-distance division, attention centers on Class A Star of Stars, covering 2,200 meters, with another Rp70 million up for grabs.
As one of the most prestigious classes, Star of Stars stands as the ultimate test for champion horses. Here, the winner’s title can only be secured through a combination of endurance, speed, and top-level strategy.
Several familiar names on Indonesia’s horse racing scene are once again in the spotlight. Among them is Princess Gavi, who this time tests her abilities in Class A Super Sprint. The runner-up in the Derby Class – 2,000 meters at IHR: Indonesia Derby 2025 faces a tough challenge, going head-to-head against short-distance specialists such as Dewa United dh.
