SARGA.CO – Horse racing fans are still buzzing with excitement after a historic moment was etched in the Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) – Indonesia Derby 2025. The championship crowned a new Indonesian Triple Crown winner: King Argentin.
But that’s not all. Indonesia’s horse racing scene is currently under the spotlight, with the blazing speed and record-breaking performances of top local racehorses catching the attention of wibu—fans of Japanese pop culture—thanks to the growing influence of the game and anime Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
Several of Indonesia’s finest racehorses have even begun to be reimagined as Uma Musume-style moe characters.
Through a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Indonesian Horse Racing organizer, SARGA.CO, publicly expressed appreciation for the Uma Musume fan community. Their presence in the stands, fan art parades on social media, and digital support laced with anime enthusiasm successfully transformed the usually formal Derby atmosphere into something more lively, unique, and vibrant.
What is typically a reserved and elite event saw an unexpected mix: wibu, cosplayers, and gamers standing shoulder-to-shoulder with conventional spectators, all cheering as hooves thundered across the track. Hashtags like #Umazing, #UmaDerby2025, and #TeamKudaWaifu trended locally, showing just how viral this unexpected collaboration has become.
And SARGA.CO isn’t stopping at just appreciation. To celebrate King Argentin’s victory as the 2025 Indonesian Triple Crown winner, they’re launching a fan art competition.
The SARGA.CO Fan Art Competition is a platform to creatively honor King Argentin’s championship moment through visual art.

Participants stand a chance to win millions of rupiah in total prizes, along with the exclusive opportunity to have their artwork featured on SARGA.CO’s official platforms.
The grand prize winner will also receive an official e-certificate of recognition from SARGA.CO.
The competition is open to the public, and each participant is allowed to submit more than one fan art entry.
However, all submissions must be original works and must not infringe on any third-party copyrights.
Participants are strictly prohibited from using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the creation of their artwork.
All entries will go through a strict curation process by SARGA.CO. From this, 20 selected works will be showcased on SARGA.CO’s official Instagram account @SARGA.CO for public voting.

The shortlisted artworks will compete in a public voting process on @SARGA.CO from August 12 to 17, 2025.
The winners of the SARGA.CO Fan Art Competition will be announced on August 19, 2025, two days after Indonesia’s Independence Day.
