SARGA.CO – The Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) National Championship Series II 2025 concluded with a thrilling showdown in the Class A “Star of Stars”, a 2,200-meter race held at the Sultan Agung Racecourse, Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Featuring five experienced horses, this 18th and final race of the day offered the prestigious SARGA.CO Cup with a total prize of Rp70 million. The competing horses were Queen Divona (King Halim Stable), Naga Sembilan (Red Stone Stable), Kashmir Pararaja (Pararaja Stable), Triple SS (Shella Saukia Stable), and Prince Patriot (Bullion 99 Stable).
Representing five regions — West Java, Jakarta, East Nusa Tenggara, Central Java, and host province Yogyakarta — the event showcased elite talent and intense rivalries among the country’s best stables.
The finale featured a dramatic duel between two powerful chestnut stallions — almost identical in build, separated by just 1 cm in height.
At the start, Triple SS immediately took the lead out of the gate, showing his trademark explosive pace. The horse, formerly known as Noel Sion, was closely trailed by Naga Sembilan and Kashmir Pararaja, keeping the tension high early on.
The race truly heated up in the final 800 meters, as jockeys began pushing their mounts to full speed. Among them, Naga Sembilan — expertly ridden by Achmad Saefudin — started closing the gap, positioning himself for a final attack on Triple SS.
As the horses entered the final turn, the crowd erupted. A fierce side-by-side battle unfolded between Triple SS (jockey: Meikel Soleran) and Naga Sembilan (jockey: Achmad Saefudin).
In the last few strides before the finish line, Naga Sembilan — owned by Mrs. Raihana Bagus — surged forward.
With a burst of stamina and perfect timing, the horse, sired by Da Vinci Eclipse out of Marior Sia, found another gear and overtook Triple SS in the closing meters.
The climax came when Naga Sembilan was only half a length ahead of Triple SS as he crossed the finish line. This result secured the victory of the horse, formerly known as Leo Nidas, in the prestigious Star of Stars class, which carries a total prize of Rp 70 million.

2nd Place: Triple SS – Central Java / Shella Saukia Stable
