SARGA.CO – For the first time since Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) series began, SARGA.CO introduced a unique competition class that blends historical and modern cultural elements.
Held at the end of the IHR Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono (HB) X 2025 event, the day concluded with two additional races — the Cos Race Yogyakarta-Kinen 2025.
Unlike the 18 previous horse races, these two final races (Class XIX and XX) featured cosplayers — young participants from the Uma Musume Indonesia community — running 100 meters on the racetrack, dressed as legendary horses from the popular anime.
SARGA.CO’s VP of Marketing & Operations, Kevin Jonathan, said the collaboration aims to spark greater interest and enthusiasm for horse racing in Indonesia, especially among younger generations.
“It’s not just the enthusiasm from Uma Musume players, but it also inspires wider youth communities,” said Kevin.
In Race XIX, the Stallion Class (100 M) featured 12 participants from six cities: Jakarta, Sleman, Yogyakarta, South Tangerang, Sukoharjo, and Bantul.
Most participants cosplayed as Agnes Tachyon (three contestants), while others portrayed Oguri Cap, Gold Ship, T.M Opera O, Eishin Flash, K.S. Miracle, Mihono Bourbon, Fenomeno, and Fuji Kiseki.
1st Place: Disa (Jakarta) – Cosplay as Agnes Tachyon (Title: Jakarta Sho Champion)
2nd Place: Aries (Bantul) – Cosplay as Fuji Kiseki
3rd Place: Adelmo (Sukoharjo) – Cosplay as Oguri Cap
In Race XX – Mare Class (100 M), 12 participants from Jakarta, Semarang, Solo, Sragen, Sleman, and Bandung joined the competition.
One notable participant, Meltedfoxx, portrayed King Argentin, the horse that won Indonesia’s Triple Crown 2025 earlier this year. The race also featured Natsumi Toyoma, the Jakarta Sho Champion, cosplaying as Narita Top Road.
