SARGA.CO – In the world of horse racing, there is always a figure who appears without warning and instantly captures attention. This year, that name is Falling In Love, a young racehorse owned by Maju Jaya Stable who turned his debut into an iconic moment and left a strong impression on spectators at Indonesia’s Horse Racing 2025.
Falling In Love made his first appearance on the grand stage of Indonesia’s Horse Racing: the Hamengku Buwono X Cup 2025. Racing as a newcomer in Class H – 1,000 meters, he started the race from gate seven.
At first, the debut seemed far from perfect. Under the guidance of trainer Ardhi Wijaya, Falling In Love momentarily drifted wide right after the start — a mistake that, for most young horses, could have ended the race.
But what happened was the complete opposite. With remarkable calmness and intelligence, Falling In Love regained his rhythm. Together with jockey Agung Saidil Adha, he used the momentum to overtake rivals one by one, eventually breaking through the finish line as the main winner.
A debut that instantly made him the talk of the racing world. One of the most touching stories about Falling In Love is the origin of his birth. He was born as a twin — a rare phenomenon in the world of racehorses.
However, the early part of his life was full of trials. Falling In Love’s twin died at the age of 1.5 years due to colic, leaving him as the sole survivor.
Being born a twin also meant that Falling In Love had a much smaller body compared to his sibling. Many doubted whether he could grow into a competitive racehorse.
But that was where the miracle truly began. With genetics that combined Minahasa Eclipse (Australian Thoroughbred) and Sri Jaya (G4), Falling In Love grew with an ideal body structure and a mental character stronger than anyone had expected.
