162 racehorses from various regions—Jakarta, Central Java, West Java, East Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi—competed in 18 race classes divided into three main divisions. 60 top jockeys participated, delivering fierce competition throughout the championship.

The total prize pool reached IDR 382 million, demonstrating the organizers' commitment to supporting the development of horse racing in Indonesia. Moreover, this competition served as an essential moment for jockeys and horse owners to showcase their best performances at the start of 2025.

"Today is fantastic. We hope future events for jockeys will be even grander. SARGA.CO, you’re awesome! Keep it up!" added Marcel Singal, another jockey receiving the award.

Kevin Jonathan, Vice President of Marketing & Operations at SARGA.CO, explained that this recognition will boost jockeys' motivation throughout 2025.

"We see great potential here. Jockeys are key players in horse racing, so we want to keep their spirits high throughout the year with PORDASI's 2025 campaign: ‘The Race of Rising Stars,’” Kevin explained.

With strong participation from racehorses and jockeys and overwhelming audience support, this championship reinforced the tradition of horse racing as a growing sport in the country.

SARGA.CO and PORDASI have also designed innovative strategies to develop horse racing further. Kevin Jonathan Van Houten revealed that PORDASI will track points for jockeys, groomers, trainers, horses, and stables, which will later be optimized in SARGA.CO’s grand strategy towards the end of the year.

"We’re keeping the concept under wraps for now, but rest assured, something new, exciting, and groundbreaking is on the way," Kevin hinted.
