SARGA.CO – Milea Guti, a 156 cm tall chestnut mare, has now become the center of attention in the Indonesian horse racing world. A daughter of the stallion Raja Biaro and the mare Aleska, Milea Guti was bred by Guti Stable Bukittinggi and has gradually carved her path toward the nation’s horse racing Derby.
Before winning the 2025 Sawahlunto Derby, Milea Guti had already shown her sharp edge. At the Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup II, Class 3 “Calon Derby” Division 1,400 meters in September 2025, Milea burst forward as soon as the starting gate opened.
Her rivals tried to give chase, but Milea remained firmly in the leading position, displaying a champion’s mentality that was difficult to shake. This victory was not merely a title, but a declaration of the arrival of a future Derby contender.
That prediction was proven when Milea Guti won the 2025 Sawahlunto Derby. In the main Derby class, 12 three-year-old horses raced over a distance of 1,500 meters for a total prize pool of IDR 150 million. Ridden by jockey Fajar Walangitan, trained by Syafrinal, and owned by Wahyu Kurniawan, Milea recorded a time of 1:44.63, narrowly defeating Carolina (Azalia Stable, Payakumbuh), who recorded 1:44.64. Third place was taken by Sir Orbit (Emerald Stable, Bukittinggi) with a time of 1:45.50.
From the moment she broke out of the starting box, Milea Guti immediately engaged in a fierce battle with Carolina. However, with a combination of superior genetics, disciplined training, and a champion’s mentality, Milea managed to assert her dominance all the way to the finish line, making her an undefeated horse on the track.
Now, Milea Guti is not just a race winner; she is a symbol of a new generation of Indonesian Derby horses, carrying the name of Guti Stable onto the national stage and marking the birth of a new star who will be reckoned with in every racing event.
