SARGA.CO – The prestigious Indonesia Grand Prix Show Jumping is set to ignite the competition arena at Arthayasa Stable, Limo, Depok, this weekend, from July 4 to 6, 2025. This championship, focused solely on the Show Jumping discipline, will showcase the talents of Indonesia’s top equestrian athletes from across Java.
All eyes are on the highly anticipated final round of the FEI CSI 1-W SEA League*, the most prestigious class of the tournament. Not only will it crown the event’s top riders, but it will also play a vital role in selecting Indonesia’s national equestrian team for the upcoming European training camp in preparation for the SEA Games Bangkok 2025.
“The FEI CSI 1*-W 140 cm class is the main highlight. If conditions allow, the jump height may be increased to 145 cm. The results from this class will be our main benchmark for choosing athletes to train in Europe. We’ll also closely observe performances in the 130 cm class to identify other promising talents,” said Rafiq Hakim Radinal, Chairman of the Equestrian Commission at PP PORDASI.
A fierce rivalry is expected between top contenders Jendry Palandeng and Marco Wowiling. Jendry, riding his trusted horse Living Pleasure W from Topline H Sport Arthayasa, secured victory in the previous round at the Arthayasa Open in May 2025.
Marco, aboard Count Contend from W Equestrian Arthayasa, delivered a standout performance at the Equinara Pulomas Open in June 2025.
But it won’t be an easy ride for either. A strong lineup of elite Indonesian riders is set to challenge them, including Muhammad Fahmi Satria Widjaya, Rahman Setiawan, Dirga Saputra, Cacu Cantiwa, Ferry Wahyu Hadiyanto, and Andri Prasetyono.
The FEI CSI 1*-W SEA League is more than just a contest of speed and precision—it’s a test of consistency, strategy, and the deep bond between rider and horse in overcoming towering obstacles. Backed by elite horses and experienced trainers, this championship promises thrilling action for fans of equestrian sports across the nation.
Come and witness the battle of Indonesia’s finest riders—and support their journey to shine on the grand stage of the 2025 SEA Games!
