SARGA.CO – After successfully producing new talents in Indonesia’s equestrian scene, MPS Equestrian is once again presenting the Aswayuddha 2025 Championship, scheduled for August 27–31, 2025 at the MPS Equestrian Indoor Arena, Mijen District, Semarang City, Central Java.
This annual competition will feature two prestigious equestrian disciplines: Dressage and Show Jumping. Riders from across the regions will showcase their skills in various classes, ranging from Walk Trot to Elementary Open for Dressage, and Show Jumping classes with obstacle heights starting at 30 cm up to 110 cm. The jumping competitions will be divided into two categories: age-group and open.
Now entering its fourth edition since its debut in August 2023, followed by successful runs in February and August 2024, the championship has built a tradition of crowning the Aswayuddha King and Queen, along with the Best Team Award—the most anticipated highlights of the event.
“We are committed to making Aswayuddha a sustainable development platform, especially for equestrian athletes in Central Java and beyond,” said Rafi Andi Wibawa, Director of Aswayuddha 2025.
Rafi emphasized the lack of equestrian championships in Central Java following the cancellation of one event earlier this year. On the other hand, the enthusiasm and potential of athletes—both beginners and seasoned riders—are steadily growing. This, he explained, motivates MPS Equestrian to consistently hold the event as a proving ground and talent incubator.
The format for Aswayuddha 2025 has been refined slightly:
Day 1 & 2: Dressage competitions
Day 3: Show Jumping warm-up sessions
Day 4 & 5: Show Jumping main classes
With complete facilities and competition-standard amenities, MPS Equestrian ensures a professional experience. The venue features a 76 x 36 meter indoor arena, a 65 x 35 meter outdoor warm-up arena, 24 permanent stables, and additional temporary stabling areas, ready to host dozens of riders and horses from various stables.
Adding to its strength, the event is supported by local officials in collaboration with national-level personnel, making this year’s edition a moment of collaborative growth for the equestrian ecosystem in Central Java.
Looking back, the 2024 Aswayuddha King title was claimed by Rahman Setiawan of Akara Stable, while Idelia Narinda Kusuma of Nirwana Stable was crowned the Aswayuddha Queen. The Best Team Award went to the host, MPS Equestrian.
Aswayuddha 2025 is not just about winning—it is about daring to ride your dreams, building mental strength in the saddle, and leaping higher toward achievement.
Who will claim the throne as this year’s King and Queen?
