The 2025 Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup was held on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Sultan Agung Stadium (SSA) in Bantul, Yogyakarta, drawing a massive crowd.

SARGA.CO – Crowds from across Yogyakarta and neighboring regions flocked to Sultan Agung Stadium (SSA) on Sunday, June 15, for the 2025 Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup.

According to Kevin Jonathan, VP of Marketing and Operations at SARGA.CO, the event had already drawn over 7,500 attendees by 12:00 PM, making it one of the most attended horse racing events in the region this year.

By 2:00 PM, updated figures showed that the number of spectators had reached 8,000.

Kevin added that the 2025 Indonesia Horse Racing Cup is part of a series of events organized by SARGA.CO, serving as a crucial practice ground for jockeys and trainers ahead of a major event in July 2025: Indonesia Derby Series I – National Championship, also to be held at SSA Bantul.

“This is the last major opportunity to train before competing in the Indonesia Derby,”

Kevin explained that many horses competing in this Cup were using the event as preparation for upcoming high-stakes races, especially the Indonesia Derby. The 2025 national championship series is a highly anticipated event among fans of equestrian sports in Indonesia, as it may decide the emergence of a new Triple Crown winner.
