SARGA.CO - SARGA.CO has officially announced the hosting of the 2026 FIA Rallycross World Cup in Jakarta, 5–6 December 2026. Taking place at the Ancol E-Prix Circuit, the event will be the first rallycross competition in Southeast Asia.

“SARGA, as a company operating in the sports and entertainment sector, has a core vision of organising world-class sports and entertainment events in the Republic of Indonesia,” said SARGA GROUP Founder, Aryo PS Djojohadikusumo, at a press conference on Thursday (16 April 2026) at the Pendopo of Jakarta City Hall.

Aryo said that for this inaugural event, SARGA.CO will transform the Ancol E-Prix Circuit into an international-standard rallycross track with a challenging mixed-surface layout.

He also highlighted that the 2026 FIA Rallycross World Cup is a new event format set to be held globally for the first time. Jakarta, he said, is honoured to host the championship’s debut.

“This is the first rallycross event in Southeast Asia and the first-ever [rallycross] World Cup. It’s a new programme from the FIA. Well, we’re bringing this here, with the permission and great support of the Jakarta Provincial Government,” added Aryo.

Additionally, he mentioned the confidence of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), as the holder of the global rallycross racing licence, in entrusting SARGA as the event organiser, partly due to their strong reputation as Indonesian horse racing event organisers.

“Whilst in previous years our company has organised horse racing events in Indonesia, starting with a single horse, this year we’ve scaled up to six hundred horsepower—the Rallycross World Cup—to be held in Jakarta,”

FIA Rallycross Sporting Manager, James Nixon, explained the reasons for choosing Indonesia as the host. “Indonesia has a strong involvement in international motorsport, an enthusiastic fan base, and great potential to develop rallycross at the highest level,” he explained.
