UMAZING! Live Streaming Link for the 2025 IHR Cup—Will Romantic Spartan Shake Up Kubu Gadang?

SARGA.CO – The Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) Cup II 2025 at the Kubu Gadang Horse Racing Arena in Payakumbuh, West Sumatra, is just around the corner, taking place on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

A total of 67 horses will showcase their best performances as they compete for a total prize pool of IDR 425 million.

According to SARGA.CO Co-Founder & CEO Aseanto Oudang, West Sumatra, was chosen because of its deep-rooted horse-racing tradition, a heritage dating back to the Dutch colonial era that continues today as a source of local pride and culture.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. WIB, the IHR Cup II 2025 will feature 10 thoroughbred racing classes with top horses and jockeys from across West Sumatra, along with three Minangkabau traditional draf bogie (horse-drawn cart) races.

Race Classes

The competing horses hail from West Sumatran regions such as Batu Sangkar, Bukittinggi, Dharmasraya, Padang, Padang Panjang, Pariaman, Payakumbuh, and Solok, as well as from West Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta.

The thoroughbred classes include: Extra Class 600 m, Class E First-Time Racers 600 m, 2-Year-Old Debut A/B 600 m, 3-Year-Old Debut A/B 800 m, and Open Class E 1,200 m.

3-Year-Old Junior Division II 1,200 m, 3-Year-Old Junior Division I 1,200 m, 3-Year-Old Derby Division II 1,400 m, 3-Year-Old Derby Division I 1,400 m, 4-Year-Old A/B 1,600 m.

The draft bogie categories are: New Draft Bogie 2,400 m, Old Draft Bogie Baru 3,200 m, Old Draft Bogie Lamo 3,200 m.

One of West Sumatra’s finest horses, Romantic Spartan from Padang Panjang, will also compete. A third-place finisher in the 2025 Indonesia Derby and a frequent national podium winner, Romantic Spartan will run in the 4-Year-Old A/B 1,600 m class.

Supported by sponsors including Arsari Tambang, Le Minerale, Pertamina, Semen Indonesia Group (SIG), Semen Padang, RM Payakumbuh, and Vitalong C, the IHR Cup II 2025 can be enjoyed not only on-site at Kubu Gadang but also via live broadcast.
