SARGA.CO – The heat is back at Indonesia’s national horse racing arena! SARGA.CO—the country’s first and only equestrian promoter—together with PP PORDASI, will host the Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup (IHR Cup) 2025 at Sultan Agung Stadium (SSA), Bantul, Yogyakarta, on June 15, 2025.
A total of 131 elite racehorses from 13 provinces will compete in 18 classes, contending for over IDR 400 million in prize money. This event marks the fourth leg of the Indonesia’s Horse Racing 2025 series, themed “The Race of Rising Stars,” with the goal of showcasing promising young equine and jockey talents destined for stardom.
said Aseanto Oudang, CEO and Co-Founder of SARGA.CO.
The IHR Cup 2025 is more than just a race—it’s a gathering for the national horse racing community: owners, trainers, groomers, and passionate fans. To strengthen a healthy and professional ecosystem, special awards will also be given to the best trainers and groomers.
Of the 18 total classes, the two most anticipated are the Open Class (2,000 m) and the Derby Contender Class (1,850 m). Each offers a total prize of IDR 70 million and will showcase the top horses alongside rising national champions.
According to Kevin Jonathan Van Houten, VP of Marketing & Operations at SARGA.CO, the IHR Cup 2025 also serves as a warm-up ahead of the Indonesia Derby (National Series 1), set for July at SSA Bantul. This event will also test the readiness of the venue for the climactic Triple Crown series of national horse racing.
Spectators can attend this thrilling speed showdown with Regular A tickets (IDR 75,000), Regular B (IDR 25,000), or enter free with a Festival ticket. All tickets will be available on-site on the day of the event.
Additionally, SARGA.CO has organized fun games with prizes and educational booths about horse racing to help casual viewers better understand and fall in love with this prestigious sport.
