SARGA.CO — The crowd erupted at Sultan Agung Racecourse as Paco Eclipse thundered down the track in an unstoppable run during Race I of the 59th Pordasi National Horse Racing Championship (Series II 2025).
The two-year-old colt didn’t just win his debut race — he crushed his rivals with sheer dominance, capturing the 2-Year-Old Debut Class (800 meters) title by an incredible five-length margin, all without his jockey ever using the whip.
The race, held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Sultan Agung Racecourse, Bantul, brought together five promising young horses from Central Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta (DIY). But from the moment the starting gates opened, one name immediately stood out — Paco Eclipse.
Guided by jockey Meikel Solean and trained by Rulli Soleran, Paco Eclipse broke smoothly from the gate, quickly joining Megatron Istana and Dophamine Prasasti in the leading pack.
But Paco Eclipse was no ordinary young horse. With a perfect blend of stamina, speed, and composure, he maintained control and steadily pulled away — all without a single flick of the whip.
At the 200-meter mark, his true power began to show. The son of Minahasa Eclipse and Shara Eclipse accelerated effortlessly, stretching his lead stride by stride. By the time he crossed the finish line, he was a clear four to five lengths ahead of his competitors, leaving the field far behind.
