SARGA.CO – Amid roaring cheers from the crowd and clouds of dust at the Legok Jawa Horse Racing Arena, Pangandaran, War Kudeta emerged as the shining star of Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) – Merdeka Cup 2025. Representing King Halim Stable, the stallion did not merely win the race—he claimed victory in the most electrifying fashion.
Competing in the 1,300-meter Open Sprint Class, War Kudeta proved that a true champion does not always need to lead from the start. Against five formidable rivals from across the regions—including Blaze Kobar and Queen Zedan—he initially remained in the rear pack. Yet from that very position, his legendary charge began.
Tension built even before the race commenced. Queen Zedan, one of the main contenders, broke out of the starting gate prematurely, forcing a brief delay as track officials reset the field. Still, War Kudeta’s focus remained unshaken.
Once the bell rang and the green flag waved, the horses burst forward like arrows. Blaze Kobar, a towering 161 cm stallion, immediately seized the lead, closely shadowed by Alward and Queen Zedan.
Meanwhile, War Kudeta—starting from Gate 3—held steady in fifth position, running side by side with Romeo Berjaya.
As the final turn approached, War Kudeta unveiled his true power. Guided masterfully by his jockey, he swung wide to the outer lane—a daring but calculated move. It was there his speed and strength became undeniable.
The crossbreed of Angelo Eclipse and Nona Noni surged forward, overtaking one rival after another. With 200 meters remaining, War Kudeta stormed past Blaze Kobar, who had led since the beginning, and secured the top spot.
Crossing the finish line half a length ahead, War Kudeta clinched the SARGA.CO Cup, along with the grand prize from the Rp60 million purse.
