Kimberly is the top favorite heading into this race. She previously won 1st place in the 2-Year-Old Beginner A/B Non-Finalist 1,400m Class at the IHR Indonesia Derby 2025 and 2nd place in the 2-Year-Old Beginner C/D Division II – 1,000m Class at the IHR Cup 2025. Her sharp sprint and youthful stamina make her a serious contender for another victory.
Royal Blaze is not far behind. She placed 3rd in the 2-Year-Old Beginner C/D Division I – 1,000m Class in the same event, giving her valuable experience that could pay off in this longer 1,200-meter challenge.
Beyond the two favorites, Kana Eclipse, Danantara (Beauty Berlin), Maylin Prima, and Sweet Caroline could all spring surprises — especially if they make clean starts and maintain strong rhythm through the middle of the track.
A 1,200-meter sprint for young horses is no easy feat. Success requires not only speed but precision and timing. A split-second delay at the start can change everything.
The midsection demands controlled rhythm — pushing hard without burning out — while the final 200–300 meters call for explosive finishing power.
It’s also a mental test. Under the roar of the crowd and pressure from rivals, some young horses may lose focus — but for others, the adrenaline could ignite their best performance yet.
