Siapakah Raja Sprint Kelas D 1.000 Meter: P Musang King, Better

Who Will Reign as the Sprint King of Class D – 1,000 Meters: P Musang King, Better Sweet, Ravelio, or Shangrila?

SARGA.CO – In the Class D Sprint – 1,000 Meters at the Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) PORDASI National Championship 59th Series II, one thing is certain: speed will decide everything.

Held at the Sultan Agung Racetrack, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, this race is among the most anticipated of the event — featuring 12 horses with evenly matched power and pace. Yet, four names stand out as the top contenders: P Musang King, Better Sweet, Ravelio, and Shangrila.

Official Lineup and Gate Draw

Ravelio (Jakarta) – gate 5
Gold Princess (West Java) – gate 12
Better Sweet (East Java) – gate 9
Lady Baharna (Jakarta) – gate 1
Putri Jelita (West Java) – gate 2
Merdeka Jatim (East Java) – gate 5
Bosch (West Java) – gate 11
Shangrila (East Java) – gate 10
Beauty Generation (West Java) – gate 3
P Musang King aka Jundi (South Kalimantan) – gate 6
Putra Kenanga Sari (Yogyakarta) – gate 7
Palito Minang (Yogyakarta) – gate 8

P Musang King – The “King” from South Kalimantan?

Starting from gate 6, P Musang King is known for his powerful stride and steady form. His consistency on straight sprints makes him a clear favorite — but over 1,000 meters, anything can change in a split second.

Better Sweet – Explosive Start, Sweet Finish

Representing East Java, Better Sweet is a rapid starter with a fierce acceleration burst. Under the right jockey, he could seize the lead early and prove impossible to catch. Gate 9 gives him space to open up his run.

Ravelio – Fast and Tactical

The Jakarta sprinter combines raw speed with smart positioning. Ravelio often slips through gaps mid-race before unleashing his final charge in the last 300 meters. From gate 5, he’s perfectly placed to strike.

Shangrila – The Unpredictable Challenger

Another East Java contender, Shangrila, is famous for his powerful closing speed and aggressive racing style. If the pace is tight early, expect him to surge dramatically in the final seconds.

Don’t Count the Others Out

While the spotlight shines on these four, the rest of the field is no less dangerous. Bosch, Gold Princess, Beauty Generation, Putri Jelita, Lady Baharna, Palito Minang, and Putra Kenanga Sari all have the potential to disrupt predictions and snatch victory if the frontrunners falter.

A 1,000-meter sprint is not just about who’s the fastest — it’s about the perfect start, track position, and jockey composure under pressure. One mistake, one misstep, and the race is gone.

Will P Musang King prove his royal blood?

Will Better Sweet live up to her name with a sweet victory?

Or will Ravelio and Shangrila turn the tables with a shocking finish — leaving the favorites stunned?

Whatever happens, this sprint promises to be fast, fierce, and unforgettable.
