Romantic Spartan Siap Beri Kejutan King Argentine, Sang Joki

Romantic Spartan Set to Surprise King Argentine, Jockey Reveals Race-Day Strategy!

SARGA.CO – The racing track at Stadion Sultan Agung, Bantul, will witness an intense battle in the 3-Year-Old Derby – 2,000 meters class at Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) – Indonesia Derby 2025 on 27 July 2025. One of the standout contenders stealing the spotlight is Romantic Spartan, a fierce filly from San Marino Stable, Padang Panjang, West Sumatra, who’s ready to spring a big surprise.

Jockey’s Strategy: “A Late Charge from Behind”

Jockey Rudy Junior confirmed that Romantic Spartan is in peak condition. With her signature racing style, she’s known to remain calm early in the race and then explode with speed on the final stretch. “Romantic Spartan is the type of horse that makes her move from behind. Just wait and see, we’ll definitely surprise our rivals, who are also strong contenders,” said Rudy Junior.

A Proud Track Record of Wins

Romantic Spartan is far from just an average racehorse. Her impressive winning record shows consistency and strength in every competition. Over the past 12 months, she has secured several notable victories:

1st Place – Beginner Class AB, Bukittinggi Mayor’s Cup (July 2024)

1st Place – Sawahlunto Derby (December 2024)

1st Place – Payakumbuh Mayor’s Derby Cup (February 2025)

1st Place – Bukittinggi-Agam Tourism Derby (May 2025)

These achievements give her solid credentials to challenge the favorites—especially King Argentine of West Java, who is chasing the Triple Crown Indonesia.

West Sumatra’s Pride on the National Stage

Romantic Spartan carries not just the banner of San Marino Stable, but also the pride of Padang Panjang and West Sumatra. Full support continues to pour in for this powerhouse filly. “We ask for your prayers so that Romantic Spartan can give her best result,” said Muhammad Ikhsan, a representative from San Marino Stable.

The Big Mission: Stopping the Triple Crown

While all eyes are on King Argentine, Romantic Spartan stands as one of the most anticipated challengers capable of derailing the Triple Crown dream. With consistent performance and a well-calculated strategy from her jockey, Romantic Spartan is poised to give everything she’s got at the 2025 Indonesia Derby.
