SARGA.CO – The Sultan Agung Racetrack in Bantul roared once again as young colt Remo Eclipse delivered an extraordinary performance in Race V of the 2-Year-Old Debut Class A/B – 1,000 meters at Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono (HB) X 2025.
Racing under the banner of Eclipse Stable, Central Java, Remo Eclipse emerged as the star of the day. The two-year-old chestnut colt didn’t just win—he dominated. Finishing more than four lengths ahead, Remo Eclipse opened a streak of victories for Eclipse Stable, which was truly unstoppable that day.
From the moment the green flag dropped, signs of Remo Eclipse’s victory were clear. Jockey Heski Paendong urged the son of Tamara Eclipse and Minahasa Eclipse out of the starting gate with a steady but aggressive pace.
Behind him, Black Mamba (East Java) and Prahara (NTT) pushed hard to chase, while Mahogani Tonsea from North Sulawesi trailed in fourth.
But the chase only highlighted Remo Eclipse’s toughness. At the 600-meter mark, Prahara overtook Black Mamba and began closing the gap. The crowd’s cheering intensified as the duel heated up.
Sensing pressure from Prahara, jockey Heski Paendong increased the tempo. Remo Eclipse responded with full power—muscles stretching, strides lengthening—and within seconds, he pulled away again.
Prahara, who once posed a threat, eventually couldn’t keep up. Black Mamba held on to third place after failing to recover in the final phase of the race.
As the finish line approached, Remo Eclipse extended his lead even further, closing the race with a commanding margin of more than four lengths—a gap that solidified his status as a rising star for Eclipse Stable.
