SARGA.CO – Cheers erupted across the Sultan Agung Racecourse in Yogyakarta on Sunday, October 19, 2025, as a young filly stunned the crowd with her flawless run over 1,200 meters — leading from start to finish without giving her rivals a chance.
Her name: Lady Arion, the 3-year-old filly from King Halim Stable (West Java), who captured the MyRepublic Cup in Race III of the 59th Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) PORDASI National Championship Series II 2025.
Race III, featuring the 3-Year-Old Novice Class, brought together eight competitors. As the starting gates burst open, three horses — Melody Hosana, Lady Arion, and Lady Wilona — immediately surged ahead. But within seconds, Lady Arion broke away from the pack, claiming the lead with effortless authority.
Bred from Maximilian (sire) and Lady Aria (dam), she combined long, balanced strides with steady breathing — a mark of both natural speed and technical precision. Under the calm control of jockey Hanny Suoth, Lady Arion raced with elegance and power — a rare blend for a young horse.
Though closely pursued by Melody Hosana from Amigo Stable (East Java) and P. Super Tembaga from BHM Stable (South Kalimantan) pressing from the outer lane, Lady Arion never lost her composure. The final 100 meters turned tense as Melody Hosana’s jockey reached for the whip — a last attempt to close the gap — but it was too late.
Lady Arion maintained her lead with clear dominance, crossing the finish line first to thunderous applause. A clean, commanding, and character-filled victory.
1st Place: Lady Arion – West Java (King Halim Stable)
2nd Place: Melody Hosana – East Java (Amigo Stable)
3rd Place: P. Super Tembaga – South Kalimantan (BHM Stable)
For King Halim Stable, Lady Arion’s triumph is more than another trophy — it’s the emergence of a true derby contender. Her consistency from start to finish, composure under pressure, and acceleration on the straight mark her as a new symbol of Indonesia’s elite young fillies.
With her graceful yet powerful gait, Lady Arion didn’t just win — she announced herself as the new queen of the track, paving her way toward the next grand stage: the national derby.
