SARGA.CO — On the golden-orange afternoon of Sunday, October 19, 2025, the skies above Sultan Agung Racetrack seemed to glow in anticipation of the grand finale of Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) National Championship Series II 2025.
The ultimate race, Class A – Star of Stars (2,200 meters), brought together five of the finest horses from across Indonesia. These were not ordinary contenders — they were champions of previous series, competing for the SARGA.CO Cup and a total prize of Rp70 million.
Amid the thunder of hooves and clouds of dust, one name ultimately captured the hearts of the spectators: Naga Sembilan, the red stallion from Red Stone Stable, who raced not only with power but also with unshakable determination.
As soon as the starting gates opened, Triple SS burst forward, the formidable runner from Shella Saukia Stable immediately asserting dominance and leaving the others behind in the opening stretch. Behind him, Naga Sembilan and Kashmir Pararaja maintained their pace strategically — watching, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
From the stands, the crowd roared with each passing lap. The tension built as the race entered its final 1,000 meters — the stretch where stamina, strategy, and the synergy between horse and jockey were pushed to their limits.
With 800 meters to go, Achmad Saefudin, jockey of Naga Sembilan, made a bold move. Steering his mount to the outer lane, he urged Naga Sembilan to quicken his pace. Step by step, the fiery red horse closed in on Triple SS.
Both horses — matching in crimson hue and nearly identical in height — thundered side by side down the track. The crowd rose to their feet, shouting in unison, “Triple!” answered by “Naga!”
As they entered the final straight, Achmad leaned forward and gave a subtle cue. Beneath the fading sunlight, Naga Sembilan responded.
The offspring of Da Vinci Eclipse and Marior Sia surged ahead with strength, grace, and unrelenting speed. In the final seconds, he overtook Triple SS, crossing the finish line half a length ahead — a decisive, majestic victory.
This closing race of the National Championship was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of spirit. Five elite horses from five provinces proved how far Indonesian horse racing has come — stronger, faster, and more prestigious than ever.
But in the end, there could be only one at the top of the podium.
Naga Sembilan, the new king of the long track, sealed Kejurnas 2025 with a commanding, unforgettable triumph.
