SARGA.CO – The Kubu Gadang racetrack became the stage for King Oil to showcase sheer dominance in Race VIII, Class E, 1,200 meters at the Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) Cup II 2025. The two-year-old chestnut colt delivered an impressive performance, claiming the SIG Cup along with a cash prize of IDR 20 million.
As a top favorite, King Oil—formerly known as Rajo Bintang—proved his reputation. Breaking from Gate 4, the colt owned by PT KSN Kediri Sakama Nusantara bolted straight to the front from the very first stride.
Guided by jockey Nur Syafri, King Oil gave no chance to his three rivals: Leon (Tanjung Stable), Jakak Si7 (Cakarduma), and Putri Lingga (66 Stable).
The son of Touarea and Princess displayed complete dominance. Leading from the start, King Oil steadily widened the gap. By the final 400 meters, he was untouchable, pulling ahead by three lengths—a margin that underlined his class and speed.
This victory not only marks the rise of King Oil’s name but also solidifies his transformation from Rajo Bintang into the new star of the racetrack.
