SARGA.CO – The Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) Merdeka Cup 2025 once again delivered a spectacular showdown, this time in the Class J – 1,000 Meter race for the Le Minerale Cup, with a total prize of Rp10 million. Held at the Legok Jawa Racetrack, Pangandaran, West Java, the event witnessed the dominance of Mc Queen, a young horse from Van Doeloer Stable, who proved superior from start to finish.
Out of five competing horses—four from West Java and one from Jakarta—the race was expected to be tight. Raden Askara quickly took the lead from gate 2, closely followed by Mc Queen and Amoy.
But it didn’t take long for Mc Queen to bare his fangs. With steady, aggressive speed, the young chestnut colt seized the front position within the first few hundred meters.
Instantly, the gap widened. Mc Queen surged ahead, completely untouchable. His acceleration was consistent, his stride powerful, and his racing style clean. He left his rivals far behind.
Interestingly, Ajeng Saketi from Jakarta delivered a surprising performance with a maneuver from the outside track. Though initially trailing, the jockey managed to guide Ajeng Saketi into snatching second place—a fine achievement for the only out-of-province contender in this race.
Final Results – Class J, 1,000 Meters
