SARGA.CO – Explosive action is guaranteed at the Sultan Agung Horse Racing Field, Bantul, Yogyakarta (DIY), on Sunday, October 19, 2025, as the country’s fastest horses take the stage in the Class B 1,200-Meter Sprint of the Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Pordasi 59th National Championship Series II.
The Sprint Class has always been a crowd favorite. With its short 1,200-meter track, speed is everything. This is where a jockey’s precision, a horse’s explosive start, and short-burst stamina determine who crosses the finish line first.
And this year, the Class B Sprint promises to be a tightly contested race. According to the official draw from PP Pordasi, here are the nine competing horses:
Names like Queen Zedna, Romeo Berjaya, and Azarya Eclipse are expected to take center stage. All three are renowned for their explosive acceleration and impressive sprint records.
However, dark horses like Blaze Kobar, Griffin, and P Bintang Kalsel shouldn’t be underestimated—they’re all expected to go all out from the start.
Unlike long-distance tracks that rely on endurance, sprint races require pure bursts of energy over a short span of time. Even the slightest mistake—whether a slow start or poor positioning—can decide between victory and defeat.
Spectators are in for a treat with an intense speed duel right from the bell, making the Class B Sprint one of the most highly anticipated races of the entire series.
With a line-up full of raw potential, one thing is certain: the 1,200-meter track will be on fire!
All eyes will be on the finish line—and only one will earn the title of the fastest.
Who will it be? Find out on October 19!
