SARGA.CO – Equestrian athlete Dirga Sahputra of HSA Equestrian emerged victorious in the most prestigious class of the FEI CSI 1-W SEA League final round*, part of the Indonesia Equestrian Grand Prix Championship.
The event featured eight elite riders, top equestrians from across Indonesia, competing fiercely at the Arthayasa Stable Equestrian Venue on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Using the Jump Off format, Dirga Sahputra—paired with horse Conny Mie Pezzi—advanced to the Jump Off round after achieving a Clear Round in the first round, alongside Raymen Kaunang (Almor Circum Stellar) riding Juliette.
Both athletes headed into the decisive Jump Off—the true test of who would claim the top podium spot. Dirga went first and took a bold approach, urging Conny Mie Pezzi at full speed. One fallen rail meant a 4-point penalty, but his blazing time of 49.49 seconds set the bar high.
Raymen chose a different tactic: play it safe. But fate had other plans. The final obstacle crushed his hopes of victory, with an additional penalty bringing his total to 6 points, handing Dirga the clear win.
This win crowned Dirga Sahputra the final round winner in the 140 cm class, adding another name to the FEI CSI 1-W SEA League* leaderboard, previously topped by Jendry Palandeng (with Cadou 4 and Living Pleasure W) and Marco Wowiling (with Count Contend) in the earlier rounds.
Meanwhile, Marco Wowiling reaffirmed his strength in the CSI Jumping 125–130 cm class, taking first place with Count Contend after a successful Jump Off. Trailing behind were Teuku Rifat Renanda Harsya (Equinara Horse Sports) and Arserl Rizki Brayudha (Aragon Equestrian Sport), finishing second and third, respectively.
This championship was more than just a competition—it also served as part of the selection process for the upcoming 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok. And for Dirga, this victory proves that hard work and instinct in the saddle can lead any rider to the sport’s highest stage.
They are the queens who rule the battlefield.
