SARGA.CO – The Indonesia’s Horse Racing Cup 2025 at Sultan Agung Stadium (SSA), Bantul, Yogyakarta, heated up on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
As one of the main events presented by SARGA.CO in collaboration with PP PORDASI, the competition grew fiercer as the races continued. From Race IV to Race VI, the track became a stage for powerful performances and photo-finish moments.
The intensity kicked off with Race IV – 2-Year-Old Novice Class C/D Division I – 1000 Meters, featuring eight horses from West Sumatra, North Sulawesi, Central Java, and East Java. They competed for the Arsari Tambang Trophy, with a total prize of IDR 15 million.
The standout was Geneva Allstar from Allstar Stable (North Sulawesi), who dominated the race from start to finish.
This filly, the result of a Moshe x Air Runner pairing and bred by Frengky Setiyono, outperformed seven rivals with ease.
Her triumph brought joy to the Allstar Stable team, who had been preparing diligently for this moment.
This win was especially satisfying as it marked a strong comeback for the 151 cm tall, 2-year-old filly, who had only placed second in a previous race.
Race IV – 2-Year-Old Novice Class C/D Division I – 1000 Meters winners:
The excitement peaked during Race V – Class F – 1000 Meters, where early leaders Mojang Siliwangi, Chandrawati, and Kasmaran set a blistering pace.
Suddenly, Lang Lang Jagad from Central Java emerged, surging from third place and overtaking Chandrawati to secure second.
In the final meters, Kasmaran and Lang Lang Jagad went neck and neck in a dramatic dash to the line. The outcome was so close that the winner had to be determined by the judges.
Following a tense wait, the judges awarded the victory to Kasmaran.
The win came as a pleasant surprise to Toschad Cipta Herdani, owner of Adem Ayem Stable (Aceh).
Toschad admitted that their expectations for Kasmaran weren’t overly ambitious. Though the mare had competed at the National Sports Week (PON), winning this event wasn’t the initial goal.
Kasmaran, a 139 cm tall filly, is trained by Ardhi Wijaya and is the offspring of Leonard Eclipse and Emping Perdana.
Race V – Class F – 1000 Meters winners:
In Race VI – 2-Year-Old Debut Class A/B – 1000 Meters, BHM Stable once again demonstrated its dominance.
With four contenders in the race, their colt P. Jack Jhon claimed victory.
This 157 cm, dark-coated 2-year-old stallion is the son of Rajo Biaro x Princess Xiu-Xiu, and this marked his first championship win.
