According to Danang Eko Yulianto, Secretary of Pordasi’s Racing Commission, the IHR Cup serves as a strategic benchmark for assessing the readiness of horses and jockeys before the Derby. It’s where performance is analyzed and strategy is sharpened.

The IHR Cup is strategic as it is part of the roadmap towards the Derby. Coaches and jockeys will analyze the strengths of their opponents and gauge the performance of each horse.

Fight in every class

Racing will be held across two broad categories:

Age Groups – Competitions for 2‑ and 3‑year‑olds, including the 3-Year‑Old Derby Divisions I & II (1,800 m), 3-Year‑Old U‑18 Divisions I & II (1,400 m), and various 2-Year‑Old classes (800–1,200 m).
Height/Skill Levels (A–F) – Including elite contests like the Open Sprint (1,300 m), Open (2,000 m), and the prestigious Local & Foreign Thoroughbred classes (1,200 m).
