

SARGA.CO – The Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Triple Crown Series II 2025 officially kicked off today (Sunday, May 18, 2025) at the Tegal Waton Racecourse, Tengaran, Semarang Regency, Central Java.
Starting at 9:00 AM WIB, the event launched several races across different classes.
The first three races of the IHR Triple Crown Series II 2025 featured:
Winners:
Owner Gilang Wicaksono shared that their victory was expected, although the tension during the race was real:
“It went just as we hoped. It was the horse’s debut run—and a win. Still, I was nervous watching it.”
This 51 kg black shiny horse, hails from Yogyakarta, was ridden by jockey Trully Pantow, and trained by Raymond Tambaani.
The win earned the team a Rp15 million prize.

Owner Cynthia Kusuma expressed pride in the win, highlighting the team’s dedication:
“Thanks to intensive training, this is our first-ever victory.”
Red Ricee is a 155 cm tall chestnut stallion, sired by Eclipse Star and Princess Nadine.
Previously, the horse had only placed sixth in its last three races and failed to rank in the two before that.
Jockey Yanny Rononuwu and trainer J. Suranta guided Red Ricee to this breakthrough win, securing a Rp10 million prize.

Trainer Farugh noted how competitive the race was:
“It was an intense race, but our horse pushed through and won in a tight finish.”
King Maxi of Halim is a 2-year-old stallion, 153 cm tall, the offspring of Maximilian and Rise Black.
Before today, he consistently finished in second place in his last three races.
This championship also became the first in Indonesia to host equestrian events at night.
