The freshly announced gate draw has sparked immediate buzz, with pundits speculating on early-start strategies among top horses and jockeys. With Rp150 million on the line, every second on the track will count.
Tokugawa Eclipse from Central Java got the biggest advantage by landing Gate 1, a prime position for an aggressive start right off the bell.
Meanwhile, Monochrome (North Sulawesi) will face an uphill battle starting from Gate 12, the outermost lane—requiring razor-sharp timing and fast acceleration to join the leaders early.
In contrast, Nara Eclipse (Gate 8) and Tinker Boy (Gate 7) are pegged as serious contenders from the middle lanes, offering flexibility for smart tactical moves.
