SARGA.CO – All eyes were on the 1,200-meter track at Sultan Agung Horse Racing Arena, Bantul, on Sunday, October 19, 2025. In the heat of Race XII, Class E of the 59th Indonesia Horse Racing National Championship (IHR) Series II 2025, a horse from South Kalimantan stole the spotlight from the very start — P Super Montong, the dominant champion who never once gave up his lead until the finish line.
Ridden by jockey Saman Farid and trained by Ardhi Wijaya, the horse from BHM Stable exploded out of the starting gate with flawless timing.
That perfect start immediately secured P Super Montong the lead position, closely followed by Liverpool TA, Danasura, and the veteran Mumun, who tried to chase from behind.
However, P Super Montong showcased his trademark character — fast, steady, and composed under pressure. Entering the first turn, he maintained his lead without a single misstep.
Tension rose halfway through the race when Artemis surged from the outer lane with unexpected speed, threatening P Super Montong’s dominance. Not far behind, Siena also pushed forward, creating a thrilling three-way duel that left spectators holding their breath.
But in that crucial moment, the true class of P Super Montong shone through. With steady strides and remarkable stamina, the stallion — also known by his nickname Predator Istana — refused to yield, keeping his rhythm and command of the track.
In the final 200 meters, it became a fierce showdown between P Super Montong and Artemis. Whips cracked, dust flew, and the crowd roared. Yet the skill and composure of jockey Saman Farid proved decisive, guiding P Super Montong to an unshakable finish at the front.
Behind them, a surprise came from Putra Raja of Aragon Stable (West Java), who made a stunning late charge from the outer lane to seize third place, overtaking several early front-runners.
