SARGA.CO – Race VIII, Class E – 1,200 meters became one of the most thrilling events at Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono X 2025. Competing for the Le Minerale Cup with a total prize of Rp40 million, this class brought together six top horses, all expected to deliver a tight and intense competition.
Among big names such as Artemis, Sienna, Liverpool T.A, Kembang Ilalang, and Red Zigen, the spotlight was firmly on P. Super Montong, also known as Predator Istana, the pride of BHM Stable, ridden by jockey Salman Farid.
Right after the gates opened, P. Super Montong immediately showed his class. With powerful acceleration, he took command of the leading pack, closely shadowed by Liverpool T.A and Sienna.
Meanwhile, veteran horse Artemis moved up from fourth position, signaling a strong intention to seize control of the race.
A few hundred meters from the start, the heat of the competition began to rise. Sienna, Artemis, and P. Super Montong crowded the front line, pushing each other in a duel that forced all three to increase their speed.
At the 400-meter mark, overtakes from the inside and outside lanes ramped up the tension among spectators. Artemis attempted to break through from the inside, while Sienna continued to apply pressure from the side. The three horses ran side by side, making the outcome unpredictable until the very last moments.
However, P. Super Montong demonstrated his caliber as a fierce sprinter. Steady speed, solid strides, and quick reactions to pressure kept him narrowly ahead.
The drama peaked as the finish line drew closer. Artemis attempted a final push, while Sienna still fought for a podium finish. But P. Super Montong held strong in front, securing his victory by a margin of just half a horse length — a razor-thin lead that made this race one of the day's tightest battles.
