SARGA.CO – Horse racing fans across Indonesia surely won’t want to miss this weekend’s championship. Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono X 2025 takes place today (Sunday, November 8, 2025) at the Sultan Agung Horse Racing Track, Bantul, Yogyakarta.
This event is not to be missed—it marks the grand finale of the 2025 IHR “The Race of Rising Stars” series. Blending historical tradition and modern culture, SARGA.CO, as the organizer, will also introduce something new at this year’s event.
The championship will be even more special with the inclusion of a traditional procession featuring royal guards carrying the King’s trophy during the opening ceremony of IHR Piala Raja HB X 2025.
A total of 18 classes with 120 horses from 12 regions across Indonesia will compete for a total prize pool of IDR 1 billion.
Famous horses are expected to close out the 2025 racing season with memorable wins. Among them is Naga Sembilan from Jakarta, aiming to add another title after claiming victory in the Star of Stars National Championship II 2025.
Also in the spotlight is Princess Gavi from West Java, who secured 2nd place in the Indonesia Derby 2025 and won the Super Sprint National Championship II 2025. Both horses will face off in the Open Class 2,000 meters for the Piala Raja HB X 2025, which offers a grand prize of IDR 200 million.
Another exciting contest will feature champion horses such as War Kudeta from West Java, Dominator, and Dewa United from Jakarta in the Open Sprint Class 1,300 meters with a total prize of IDR 100 million.
Equally thrilling is the 3-Year-Old Derby Division I (1,800 meters) with Tokugawa Eclipse from Central Java, Monochrome and Suntora Nagari from North Sulawesi, and Cassius Warrior from East Java—all racing for a total prize of IDR 110 million.
The IHR Piala Raja HB X 2025 also highlights modern culture through a collaboration between SARGA.CO and the Uma Musume Indonesia community. Uma Musume is a popular Japanese game combining horse racing and idol-style anime characters inspired by legendary racehorses.
One of the featured activities by this community will be a cosplay (cos) race—a foot race among members dressed as characters from the game, running on the actual racetrack. The Uma Musume Indonesia Cos Race will appear as Races 19 and 20.
