SARGA.CO – The Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR): 59th PORDASI National Horse Racing Championship Series II 2025, held at Sultan Agung Racecourse, Yogyakarta, became a showcase of brilliance for several stables that stole the spotlight with their impressive number of podium finishes.
East Java emerged as the contingent with the most podium finishes overall, while BHM Stable (South Kalimantan) and King Halim Stable (West Java) stood out as the most consistent top performers.
Out of 152 horses from 12 regional contingents across Indonesia, East Java claimed 13 podium finishes, the highest in quantity, though the province finished fourth nationally with 46 total points.
East Java’s podium strength came largely from BHM Stable, which secured six podiums, including a second-place finish in Class B 1,850m by P Tupai King. Additional highlights included Naura Ayu from Amigo Stable (third in Class B 1,850m) and Flamboyan from Nona Cindy Stable, who claimed an important victory in Class C 1,600m.
From West Java, King Halim Stable delivered a stellar performance with three key podium finishes, including two dominant wins by Princess Gavi (Class A Super Sprint 1,300m) and War Kudeta (Class B 1,850m), plus Queen Divona, who placed third in Class A Star of Stars. With these results, King Halim became one of the most decorated stables of the tournament, outperforming several strong rivals.
Meanwhile, Eclipse Stable (Central Java) also impressed with five podiums, contributing to Central Java’s third-place overall finish nationally. A standout performance came from Triple SS, who secured second place in Class A Star of Stars 2,200m, representing Shella Saukia Stable.
DKI Jakarta, crowned as the overall national champion with 85.5 points, recorded 10 podiums, thanks to contributions from multiple stables such as Red Stone Stable, Ciello Stable, Dewa United Stable, Jalu Stable, and Aisyah Stable. Among these, Naga Sembilan from Red Stone Stable, who won Class A Star of Stars, played a key role in securing Jakarta’s dominance in the most prestigious division.
From outside Java, BHM Stable (South Kalimantan) was the most productive stable, contributing six podiums — the highest among non-Java teams. This strong showing helped South Kalimantan become one of the most competitive contingents, even though they did not break into the national top five in total points.
