SARGA.CO – Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Pordasi 59th National Championship Series II 2025 kicked off with a stunning performance from Paco Eclipse of Eclipse Stable, who claimed victory in Race I: 2-Year-Old Debut Class (800 meters).
The 2-year-old stallion, standing 154 cm tall, proudly took home the Japfa Cup, with a total prize of IDR 15 million.
The opening race, held at the Sultan Agung Horse Racing Track, Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, featured five horses representing Central Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta.
From the moment the starting gate opened, Race I showcased fierce competition. Paco Eclipse, Megatron Istana, and Dophamine Prasasti had flawless starts, quickly taking the lead pack.
Ridden by jockey Meikel Solean and trained by Rulli Soleran, Paco Eclipse proved far too powerful for his rivals. Impressively, the win was achieved without the jockey ever needing to use the whip.
At 200 meters from the finish line, the horse—born from the sire Minahasa Eclipse and dam Shara Eclipse—showed incredible strength, pulling away from the other four competitors.
Paco Eclipse’s power and speed were undeniable as he crossed the finish line 4–5 horse lengths ahead of his nearest competitor, Dophamine Prasasti, followed by Megatron Istana in third place.
