SARGA.CO – Amid the cheers of spectators at Sultan Agung Horse Racing Track in Bantul, one name once again proved its class as the ruler of Indonesia’s short-distance races: Kasmaran. The 4-year-old chestnut mare from Djon’s Stable (Jakarta) delivered an outstanding performance, securing her sixth consecutive victory and claiming the Rp30 million SARGA Cup in Race IV Class F – 1,000 Meters at Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono X 2025.
Kasmaran, the progeny of sire Leonard Eclipse and dam Princess Ambun, once again showcased lethal speed and acceleration, leaving rivals like Belladona, Ayumi Sharayu, Gentayu, and Starlight far behind.
As soon as the starting gate opened, Kasmaran shot forward like an arrow. Positioned on the outer side of the track, she immediately took the ideal line — a signature tactic she has used consistently throughout her previous five wins.
Jockey Agung Saidil Adha, who had just secured a victory in Race II with Falling in Love, once again demonstrated his sharp sense of timing. Mounted on Kasmaran, he ensured no other horse could approach the front line.
From behind, two East Java horses — Belladona and Ayumi Sharayu — tried to put pressure. They stuck to each other tightly in the battle for second place, but none could penetrate Kasmaran’s dominance.
With 50 meters remaining, Kasmaran still held a comfortable lead. Her strides were steady, aggressive, and unwavering in rhythm. Behind her, Belladona and Ayumi Sharayu were locked in their own duel, fighting for podium positions without ever closing the gap to the leader.
Kasmaran crossed the finish line with convincing superiority. This victory not only marked her sixth straight win but also cemented her status as one of the best sprinters in IHR 2025.
For jockey Agung Saidil, it was his second title of the day, after winning Race II with Falling in Love. This double achievement boosts his confidence and reinforces his reputation as one of the most dangerous short-distance jockeys.
Race IV Results – Class F (1,000 Meters):
Six-Time Champion, Kasmaran Poised to Become a Legend
With six straight victories, Kasmaran is no longer just another race participant — she is entering the realm of a “living legend” in the 1,000-meter category.
Her consistency, speed, and aggressive running style make her a formidable competitor, even against strong contenders from powerhouse regions like East Java. If she continues performing at this level, Kasmaran may soon become one of the new icons of Indonesian horse racing.
