SARGA.CO – The magnificent Triple SS, ridden by Meikel Soleran from Shella Saukia Stable, claimed the highest honor in Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono X 2025, held at Sultan Agung Racecourse, Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
With unmatched speed that left six rivals trailing far behind, Triple SS, owned by H. Achmad Fitra and trained by Slamet Pak Wo, seized victory in the Royal Cup, taking home the SARGA.CO Trophy with a total prize of Rp 200 million.
The Race XVII – Open Class (HB X Cup) covered a distance of 2,000 meters and featured seven contenders from six provinces. West Java sent two strong runners — Princess Gavi and Queen Divona — while the others were Naga Sembilan (formerly Leonidas) from Jakarta, Triple SS (formerly Noel Sion) from Central Java, Naura Ayu from East Java, Prince Patriot from Yogyakarta, and P. Ratu Samudra from South Kalimantan.
The 6-year-old red stallion , standing 160 cm tall, launched from the gates with a flawless start. Though the pack clustered early on, Triple SS and Naga Sembilan quickly broke away to lead the front line.
With a long two-lap course ahead, favorite Princess Gavi maintained third place, while the rest of the field carefully managed their pace. As the race progressed several hundred meters, Triple SS and Naga Sembilan extended their lead by two lengths.
Behind them, Princess Gavi and Queen Divona from King Halim Stable tried to close the gap while strategizing for the final stretch.
Tension rose within 800 meters of the finish. Triple SS remained dominant, with Naga Sembilan holding second, followed by the two King Halim horses in third and fourth. As they rounded the final bend, the front-runners pushed their pace to the limit. Jockey Meikel Soleran, firmly in control atop Triple SS, carefully monitored his competitors while unleashing the horse’s full power to seal an impressive, nearly untouchable victory.
Princess Gavi's efforts to seize the lead proved insufficient as the distance to the finish line grew ever faster. However, the horse, led by Jimmy Runtu, managed to overtake Naga Sembilan, who had to settle for third place.
1st Place: Triple SS – Central Java (Shella Saukia Stable)
2nd Place: Princess Gavi – West Java (King Halim Stable)
3rd Place: Naga Sembilan – Jakarta (Red Stone Stable)
