SARGA.CO – The excitement at Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono (HB) X 2025 continues to heat up as top racehorses showcase their strength, leaving competitors behind.
Held at Sultan Agung Horse Racing Field, Bantul, DI Yogyakarta, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, the championship had already completed five races by 09:30 WIB.
Among them were Class G – 1,000 m, Class F – 1,000 m, and Class 2-Year-Old Debut A/B – 1,000 m.
A spectacular moment took place in the 2-Year-Old Debut A/B Class when Kasmaran from Jakarta claimed her sixth consecutive victory, maintaining her undefeated streak.
A fierce race unfolded in Race III, Class G – 1,000 m, competing for the PLN Cup with a total prize of Rp10 million. Participants came from five provinces — West Java, East Java, Central Java, South Kalimantan, and Yogyakarta — featuring six horses: Evelyn Salt, Prince of Sumba, P. Bles Virginia, Nagoya MD, Berkas Sari, and Nona Khaula.
Victory didn’t come easily for P. Bles Virginia.
When the starting gate opened, Nagoya MD and Nona Khaula took the early lead, two lengths ahead.
Trailing closely behind, P. Bles Virginia, a four-year-old mare, strategized from the outer lane while dueling with Berkas Sari for third position.
Her consistency paid off in the final turn as she overtook Nona Khaula, whose pace began to slow, slipping from the leading pack before the finish line.
Once in front, P. Bles Virginia surged ahead effortlessly, leaving rivals far behind. The daughter of stallion Magnus and mare Black Shadow One sealed her victory without a single whip strike from jockey Marcel Ratu.
Race III Class G – 1,000 m Winners:
1st Place: P. Bles Virginia (South Kalimantan – BHM Stable)
2nd Place: Nagoya MD (East Java – MD Stable)
3rd Place: Prince of Sumba (East Java – Nona Cindy Stable)
In Race IV, Class F – 1,000 m, Kasmaran from Jakarta proved once again she’s unstoppable, earning her sixth consecutive trophy in a row — the Sarga Cup, worth Rp30 million.
The four-year-old mare, sired by Leonard Eclipse and out of Princess Ambun, outpaced her four competitors: Belladona, Ayumi Sharayu, Gentayu, and Starlight.
With a flawless start, Kasmaran immediately took the lead from the outer lane. Like an arrow released from a bow, jockey Agung Saidil Adha guided her far ahead, leaving Ayumi Sharayu and Belladona trailing.
In the final 50 meters, Kasmaran maintained her lead, while Belladona and Ayumi Sharayu fought neck-and-neck for second place.
For Agung Saidil, this was his second win of the day after leading Falling in Love to victory in the Class H – 1,000 m earlier.
Race IV Class F – 1,000 m Winners:
1st Place: Kasmaran (Jakarta – Djon’s Stable)
2nd Place: Belladona (East Java – Nona Cindy Stable)
3rd Place: Ayumi Sharayu (East Java – Satrio Anom Stable)
