SARGA.CO – Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Piala Raja Hamengku Buwono (HB) X 2025 became a showcase of strength for Eclipse Stable from Central Java. In two events — 2-Year-Old Debut A/B and Class D Sprint, both over a 1,000-meter distance — two horses trained by Venty Pantouw demonstrated remarkable dominance, winning by wide margins.
Eclipse Stable’s winning streak began in the 2-Year-Old Debut A/B – 1,000 m, competing for the My Republic Cup with a total prize of Rp40 million.
This fifth race featured four horses: Mahogani Tonsea (North Sulawesi), Prahara (East Nusa Tenggara), Remo Eclipse (Central Java), and Black Mamba (East Java).
The 2-year-old colt Remo Eclipse, sired by Minahasa Eclipse out of Tamara Eclipse, showed signs of victory from the very start.
As the green flag waved, Remo Eclipse immediately surged to the front, trailed by Black Mamba, Prahara, and Mahogani Tonsea. His impressive speed allowed him to lead by two horse lengths, while Prahara and Black Mamba battled side by side for second place.
In the final 600 meters, Prahara managed to overtake Black Mamba and began closing in on the leader. However, jockey Heski Paendong urged Remo Eclipse forward with precision, extending the gap once more and crossing the finish line more than four lengths ahead.
1st Place: Remo Eclipse (Central Java – Eclipse Stable)
2nd Place: Prahara (East Nusa Tenggara – Pararaja Stable)
3rd Place: Black Mamba (East Java – Prasasti Stable)
Eclipse Stable’s supremacy continued in Race VI, Class D Sprint – 1,000 m, competing for the Sarga Cup with a total prize of Rp40 million.
This prestigious race for 2-year-old horses featured eight competitors: Lady Baharna, P. Love Borneo, P. Cinta Negara, Harata Eclipse, Alexa Zigen, Maylin Prima, Kabisat, and Alesha.
From the very start, Harata Eclipse, a progeny of Minahasa Eclipse, took the lead from gate 8, closely followed by Maylin Prima and Alexa Zigen. Maintaining composure throughout, Harata Eclipse stayed in front until the final 100 meters, when Lady Baharna made a late surge from the outer lane, overtaking P. Cinta Negara to challenge the leaders.
Despite the strong effort, Lady Baharna could not overtake Harata Eclipse, who secured a decisive victory after leading the race from start to finish.
1st Place: Harata Eclipse (Central Java – Eclipse Stable)
2nd Place: Lady Baharna (Jakarta – Red Stone Stable)
3rd Place: P. Cinta Negara (South Kalimantan – BHM Stable)
