SARGA.CO – The strength of Kasmaran from Maju Jaya Stable remains undefeated. Racing in Class F – 1,000 meters of the Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) Merdeka Cup 2025 on Sunday, 24 August 2025 at Legok Jaya Racecourse, Pangandaran, West Java (Jabar), the mare dominated throughout the race.
Competing for the Le Minerale Cup with a total prize of Rp15 million, Class F – F-1,000 meters was joined by 7 horses, dominated by 6 from Jabar, 2 from Jakarta, and 1 from Central Java.
The horses featured familiar names in the racing arena, among them Kasmaran, Tni Thunder, Hercules, Mayangsari, and Indah Kirana.
The Class F race unfolded intensely with Danasura, Hercules, Aare, and Kasmaran leading the front pack.
Kasmaran continued to surge ahead in first position, shadowed closely by her rivals. Danasura made strong efforts from the outside track in an attempt to overtake.
However, Kasmaran’s dominance—already boasting a hat-trick from her last three races—was unshaken until the finish line. The victory was even more impressive as it was achieved without the whip, guided only by jockey Agung Saidili and trainer Ardhi Wijaya.
Kasmaran is a mare standing 139 cm tall, sired by Leonardo de Eclipse and Emping Perdana. Owned by Suwandi, she represents Maju Jaya Stable.
Danasura, known for breaking through from behind, managed to secure second place.

A fierce battle unfolded approaching the finish line. Ravelio, Gold Princess, and Elkano were locked in a tight contest for the top podium spot.
In the final corner, Ravelio and Gold Princess exchanged leads. With 100 meters remaining, Ravelio’s burst of speed proved unstoppable, securing the Arsari Tambang Cup.
The winners of Race III, Class D Sprint - 1000 Meters, are as follows:
1. Ravelio from Jakarta, Bayu Kreta Stable
2. Gold Princess from West Java, Aragon Stable
3. Elkano Bless from West Java, Aragon Stable
The Class C Sprint – 1,100 meters brought another tense showdown, with five horses competing: Raja Shankara, Maesa Dewi, Rosalin Soraya, Cansu, and Gegana Maja.
At the break, Cansu took the inner track and immediately led, followed by Raja Shankara and Maesa Jaya. Meanwhile, Gegana Maja and Rosalin Soraya started from the outer lanes.
Cansu burst ahead, leading by a length in the early stages, while Gegana Maja led the charge on the outside.
As the race neared the final bend, Gegana Maja closed in, tailing Cansu tightly.
Drama struck with 100 meters to go when jockey Ended Rahmat maneuvered Gegana Maja to cut inside, attempting to steal the lead from Cansu.
For a few meters it looked successful, but Cansu, driven by jockey Rizki Nugraha, refused to surrender the lead she had held since the start. The duel ended in a dramatic photo finish, separated by no more than a horse’s nose.
