SARGA.CO – Intense drama unfolded in Races XI and XII of Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) National Championship Pordasi Series II 2025 at the Sultan Agung Racecourse, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region, on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
In Race XI (Class C Sprint – 1,100 meters), Kamaka Eclipse had to surrender the championship title that was already within reach, as Dragon surged ahead in the final moments.
Meanwhile, in Race XII (Class E – 1,200 meters), P Super Montong secured victory comfortably despite late pressure from competitors nearing the end of the race.
Featuring 12 competing horses, Race XI brought a thrilling finish. Kamaka Eclipse, who had been leading since the start, was forced to hand over the title to his rival from Bintang Madura Stable, Dragon.
The 4-year-old bay stallion, standing 155.3 cm tall, had a perfect start and immediately took the lead. Following closely behind were P Hajar and Chel’Leng Manis from Suramadu Stable.
The front order briefly shifted after the first corner as Gegana Maja advanced from the inside lane to claim third position and joined the battle with the leading pair.
From the outside, Orion Marapi of West Sumatra (Sumbar) tried to break into the leading pack.
Meanwhile, from the back of the group, Dragon, who was not among the early leaders, began making his move. The 156 cm tall, battle-hardened stallion used his racing experience to gradually close the gap.
Approaching the finish line, Dragon closed in on Kamaka Eclipse, creating an intense duel for the SARGA.CO Cup, which carried a total prize of Rp40 million. The neck-and-neck battle tightened in the final 100 meters, and despite his efforts, Kamaka Eclipse had to relinquish his lead to Dragon in the final strides.

The neck-and-neck battle tightened in the final 100 meters, and despite his efforts, Kamaka Eclipse had to relinquish his lead to Dragon in the final strides.
The fight for third place was equally fierce, as MS Queen and Unexpected Boy suddenly surged from behind to join the leading group. Both crossed the line simultaneously, prompting the judges to declare a shared third-place finish.

1st Place: Dragon d.h. Arupalaka – East Java, Bintang Madura Stable
2nd Place: Kamaka Eclipse – Central Java, Eclipse Stable
3rd Place (Tie): Unexpected Boy – West Java, DEZ Stable & MS Queen – North Sulawesi, Miranda Stable
In Race XII (Class E – 1,200 meters), P Super Montong dominated from the very start and claimed victory in convincing fashion.
Competing against 12 horses, the horse ridden by Saman Farid and trained by Ardhi Wijaya led the race from the start to capture the Arsari Tambang Cup, which carried a total prize of Rp20 million.
A perfect start was also made by Liverpool TA, Danasura, and Mumun, who closely tailed P Super Montong in the leading group.
P Super Montong maintained his lead through the first turn, with the veteran Mumun moving up to third position.
Amid the front-runners’ duel, Artemis suddenly burst from the outside lane, accelerating quickly to challenge P Super Montong for the lead. Siena also attempted to advance from the outer track.
In the final few hundred meters, the race became a duel between P Super Montong and Artemis. However, P Super Montong managed to hold strong and cross the finish line first.
Surprisingly, Putra Raja, who had not been in the leading pack, sprinted from gate 4 on the outside and claimed third place.
