SARGA.CO – The champion horse from the Jakarta contingent, Bintang Maja of Jalu Stable, rediscovered its best form at the IHR National Horse Racing Championship Pordasi Series II 2025, held at the Sultan Agung Racecourse, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region, on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Dashing ahead from the very start, the 6-year-old bay stallion, standing 157.5 cm tall, triumphed in the National Class B Sprint – 1,200 meters, earning the SARGA.CO Cup and a total prize of Rp50 million.
The victory of this horse, sired by Tuscaloosa and out of Android, was hard-fought until the final stretch as Romeo Berjaya launched a late charge from behind.
Competing against nine horses, Bintang Maja, ridden by jockey Ended Rahmad and trained by M. Dani, made a flawless start and immediately took the lead.
A few meters after the gate opened, the tension began to rise as Azarya Eclipse from Eclipse Stable closely shadowed Bintang Maja. Running in third was Blaze Kobar, who attempted to close in on the front two.
By the second turn, Bintang Maja remained resilient against his two closest rivals, with Grifin from Cahaya Bulan Stable taking over the second position.
A fierce battle between Bintang Maja and Azarya Eclipse unfolded around 400 meters before the finish line, with only half a horse’s length separating them. But a surprise came from the outside lane.
Romeo Berjaya, who had been trailing behind, began surging forward, overtaking several competitors to challenge for the lead. The contest is now centered between Bintang Maja, Romeo Berjaya, and Grifin.
All three jockeys pushed hard toward the finish line, but Ended Rahmad managed to guide Bintang Maja across the line first, sealing a well-deserved victory.
1st Place: Bintang Maja – Jakarta, Jalu Stable
2nd Place: Romeo Berjaya – Jakarta, Aisyah Stable
3rd Place: Grifin – East Java, Cahaya Bulan Stable
An unexpected twist occurred in Race XIV, Class D – 1,400 meters, as Harata Eclipse, who had dominated most of the race, was overtaken by Santana Rembulan from the Central Java contingent (Santana Stable).
Harata Eclipse had led from the start, aiming to win the Le Minerale Cup with a total prize of Rp30 million. Until the final corner, the 4-year-old chestnut stallion standing 150.7 cm tall still maintained his advantage over his pursuers.
The horse, bred from Muinahasa Eclipse and Katty Eclipse, held off challenges from Arceus Nagari and Telephony Love T.A. for most of the race.
However, on the home straight, Harata Eclipse began to lose stamina — a chance Santana Rembulan seized perfectly, accelerating rapidly to snatch victory.
Winners – Race XIV (Class D, 1,400 meters):
1st Place: Santana Rembulan – Central Java, Santana Stable
2nd Place: Arceus Nagari – Jakarta, SARGA Stable
3rd Place: Telephony Love T.A. – Central Java, Tombo Ati Stable
