SARGA.CO – War Kudeta once again proved its strength as a powerful finisher, striking from behind in the Class B – 1,850 meters of the Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) National Championship Pordasi Series II 2025, held at the Sultan Agung Racecourse, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region, on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
This victory earned War Kudeta the Le Mineral Cup champion title, with a total prize of Rp50 million.
In the previous race, Flamboyan from Nona Cindy Stable also demonstrated an effective strategy by stalking from behind to claim victory in Race XV: Class C – 1,600 meters.
With this win, Flamboyan secured 1st place in the Arsari Tambang Cup, which offered a total prize of Rp40 million.
These two races presented champions from strong-finishing horses that managed to emerge as winners despite not leading from the start.
In Race XV, which featured 12 competing horses, Flamboyan began the race calmly, allowing Yuwaraja, P Putra Barbara, and Centauri to take turns leading the pack.
Flamboyan—who with his speed managed to reach third position—only began to show his threat when the race entered the final stretch toward the finish line.
Running from the middle lane, the 154 cm tall bay stallion battled side by side with P Putra Barbara, who had led from the beginning.
Approaching the finish line, Flamboyan, already at top speed, finally managed to take the lead step by step, leaving P Putra Barbara behind.
Jockey Jemmy Runtu gave a final push at the end, propelling the horse—bred from Belantara and Princess Nothiard—to surge far ahead.
1st Place: Flamboyan – East Java, Nona Cindy Stable
2nd Place: P. Putra Barbara – South Kalimantan, BHM Stable
3rd Place: Yuwaraja – West Java, Aragon Stable
A similar action took place in Race XVI, featuring several top contenders such as P Tupai King, Naura Ayu, and War Kudeta.
At the start, P Tupai King from BHM Stable immediately took the lead, followed closely by Naura Ayu. The leading position changed after the first corner when Al Ablaq managed to overtake and challenge P Tupai King.
The rivalry between the two continued until the second corner, when a new contender, Padagi NSL, joined the leading group, making the race even more competitive.
Unnoticed by the front runners, War Kudeta, already reaching its highest speed, began to surge forward, passing Padagi NSL. The real battle then took place between P Tupai King and the horse from King Halim Stable.
In a side-by-side duel with P Tupai King toward the finish line, War Kudeta finally crossed first with a narrow margin.
1st Place: War Kudeta – West Java, King Halim Stable
2nd Place: P Tupai King – East Java, BHM Stable
3rd Place: Naura Ayu – East Java, Amigo Stable
