IHR-Indonesia Derby 2025: Naura Ayu Still Shines Bright, Here Are the Winners from 6 Racing Classes

SARGA.CO – The Indonesia’s Horse Racing (IHR) – Indonesia Derby 2025 has completed more than half of its racing classes held at Sultan Agung Horse Racing Track, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta, on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

More than 85 of the best horses from various stables across Indonesia showcased their skills in one of the most prestigious championships that also awards the coveted Triple Crown Series trophy.

In this late-morning session, six classes were held: Class C – 1,300 M, 2-Year-Old Beginner A/B Non-Finalist – 1,400 M, 3-Year-Old Junior Non-Finalist – 1,600 M, 3-Year-Old Derby Non-Finalist – 2,000 M, Open Class A – 2,000 M, 2-Year-Old Beginner C/D – 1,200 M.

Attention was drawn to the 3-Year-Old Derby Non-Finalist Class, featuring eight top horses that failed to make it to the final of the 2025 Indonesia Derby.

Despite not appearing in the final, the power and speed of these horses could not be underestimated. They still fought hard to be the first to cross the finish line.

The race began with Equinox, Agatha Star, Griffin, and Kancil Mas T.A. leading the pack. However, Naura Ayu gradually showed her strength when she challenged Griffin in the last 400 meters before the finish.

Naura Ayu’s resilience became undeniable as the 3-year-old jragem mare, standing 156 cm tall, left her competitors behind in the battle for second and third place.

Naura Ayu, the offspring of Tuscaloosa and Komico, pulled away from her rivals and emerged as the champion of the 3-Year-Old Derby Non-Finalist Class.
