Dulu Nyasar, Sekarang Incar Gelar: Prince Loupan Kembali!

Once Lost, Now Chasing Glory: Prince Loupan Is Back! Serious Mode On for the 1,000-Meter Sprint?

SARGA.CO – In the world of horse racing, some names are feared for their speed, respected for their achievements, or admired for their consistency. But there’s one name that fans love for an entirely different reason — his antics.

Meet Prince Loupan, the young horse from King Halim Stable – West Java, who’s once again stealing the spotlight ahead of the Class G – 1,000 Meter sprint at the Indonesia Horse Racing (IHR) National Championship PORDASI 59th Series II, to be held at Sultan Agung Racetrack, Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

Still Remember His “Wrong Turn” at the Merdeka Cup?

Prince Loupan became a viral sensation among horse racing fans after his unforgettable performance at the 2025 Merdeka Cup. Just meters away from winning the race, he suddenly veered off toward the center of the track, then drifted to the outside rail as if he’d lost his sense of direction — leaving spectators, who were moments ago holding their breath, bursting into laughter.

Instead of frustration, the crowd was charmed. Prince Loupan wasn’t just fast — he was an entertainer.

Hidden Talent: Yes, Loupan Is Actually Fast!

Don’t be fooled by his quirky behavior. Behind that playful demeanor, Loupan possesses real speed and power. He’s the offspring of King Lopan x Sandel, both respected sprint-line horses with proven records on short tracks.

That potential started to shine during the 2025 PORDASI National Championship Series I, in the Class F – 1,000 Meter (Arsari Tambang Cup). Although he didn’t make the podium, his improved focus showed that when he’s “in the zone,” Prince Loupan can be a serious threat on the track.

More Than Just a Sprint

For this race, Loupan will start from gate 1, an inside position that could give him an early advantage — if he can blast out cleanly. But competition will be fierce, especially from:

Arbay Star (Central Java) – gate 4, winner of the 2025 IHR Merdeka Cup (Class H – 1,000M) and a proven front runner.
Dicaprio (Jabar) – gate 2
Evelyn Salt (Jabar) – gate 6
Bless Virginia (South Kalimantan) – gate 3
Berkah Sari (Yogyakarta) – gate 5
Nagoya MD (East Java) – gate 7

With only 1,000 meters of track, every fraction of a second counts. A sharp start, a focused jockey, and the horse’s mood could determine everything.

Will Prince Loupan finally get serious and claim the title — or will he once again deliver the kind of unexpected entertainment that makes him a fan favorite?

Whatever happens, one thing’s certain: this race will be fast, thrilling, and unforgettable.
