SARGA.CO – The 59th PORDASI National Horse Racing Championship (IHR) Series II is heating up once again! One of the most anticipated races is the 3-Year-Old Debut Class – 1,200 meters, which will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Sultan Agung Horse Racing Track, Yogyakarta. With a prize of Rp15 million, six young horses will test their speed and stamina in this thrilling 1,200-meter debut race.
List of Competing Horses:
Although these competitors don’t yet have an extensive track record like the elite classes, this race will serve as a crucial proving ground for these 3-year-old horses just beginning their racing careers. A win here could mark the first step toward more prestigious events such as the Derby or even the Triple Crown in the future.
West Java dominates the lineup with three contenders: Lady Arion, Lady Wilona, and Blaze Wani. The trio could employ early teamwork to secure a commanding lead. However, George Taurut from Central Java, starting from gate 1, might surprise everyone with a powerful inside break.
From South Kalimantan, P. Super Tembaga is ready to steal the spotlight, while Melody Hosan from East Java, starting at gate 6, is expected to take advantage of the open outer lane for a late explosive sprint in the final turn.
The Sultan Agung track, known for its technical layout and challenges for debutants, will truly test both the training quality and instincts of the jockeys. With only six participants, this race promises to be fast, tactical, and intense, with minimal traffic to navigate on the course.
This race isn’t just about chasing the Rp15 million prize — it’s about making a statement. For trainers and stable owners, it’s the chance to see if their future stars are ready to shine early.
All eyes will be on Sultan Agung, Yogyakarta, where six young horses will race not only for victory but for a place in the future of Indonesia’s horse racing legacy.
