SARGA.CO – Thoroughbred from North Sulawesi, Caraxes Nagari, has once again proven that horses from Eastern Indonesia are no longer mere participants in the national racing scene. In the IHR-Indonesia Derby 2025, the filly, sired by Moshe x Mahardika Jr, claimed first place in the 3-Year-Old Junior Class – 1,600 meters.
Racing under the banner of Djon’s Stable, Caraxes Nagari dominated right from the start. With consistent speed and remarkable stamina, she took the lead early and maintained a steady pace throughout the track. This victory is solid proof that breeding and training quality in Eastern Indonesia has seen a significant leap forward.
Trailing behind Caraxes was Wulan Nuangan, a filly representing Miranda Stable. Sired by De Lago King x Gadis Klabat, she launched a strong challenge at the final turn but ultimately had to settle for second place.
The third-place finisher was Lucynero, a filly from Central Java owned by Speed Up Stable. Bred from Mas Dinero Megastar x Samara, she delivered a steady performance and stayed close behind the two frontrunners, securing a respectable finish.
Marking the national energy company’s commitment to supporting the growth of equestrian sports in the country.
